Association 

At this time, we are an informal association.  We are all shipmates who served in USS Barney DDG-6 between 1962 and 1990.  By consensus, we have agreed to accept widows and children of deceased Barney sailors if they wish to participate.

While the association started as a dues-free enterprise, that has had to change.  Daily operating expenses such as research for future reunions, Ships Store items, and the movement to save the USS Barney, now require that dues be paid by all active members.  While the yearly $10 dues from all of us will not fund all of these endeavors, it is necessary for incidental expenses, many of which have come out of the pockets of individual members up to this point.

Barney Association annual dues are $10.
